2.  What is your first answer? (In complete thesis statement format)
  • The lawyer and the client should have good and truthful communication, to have a good case.
3.  What is your second answer? (In complete thesis statement format)
  • The lawyer should be up-to date with any with that has changed, and that can go from any reforms that came out or if changes happened any old reforms. Having the lawyer up-to date allows them to inform the client with information that is correct.

  • If a teacher that is teaching gives the students wrong information and they go by that information anything they say and do will be wrong.

Blog 17: Interview 3 Reflection

  1. What is the most important thing I learned from the interview?
    • I learned that each person has a different view and idea on what the United States can give. I also learned that not many people came her because they come looking for the American Dream but because they were forced for some reason to leave their country. And most of the undocumented people that want to get their papers they look for a lawyer that is honest with them and their family.
  2. How has your approach to interviewing changed over the course of your senior project?
    • I think my approach to interviewing has improved at least a lit bit, I hope so. I'm sill shy on asking for things and I hope by the end of the year I'm going to be better at talking to more people that are outside of my comfort zone.

Blog 16:Independent Component 2 Approval

1.  Describe in detail what you plan to do for your 30 hours.

  • I'm not sure what I want to do for my IC 2. But I want to interview or hear someone story, on how they came to the United States and why. And also how they thought the Unites States would be and if when coming to the United States did their expectations go down or stay the same.
2.  Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectation of showing 30 hours of evidence.

  • I would take pictures of the person, and also if they have any pictures they could show me I could take a picture. Have a recording of them telling their story.
3.  Explain how this component will help you explore your topic in more depth.

  • It gets the view of the client and what they had to do to come to the United States. See what they look at when they want to become residents of the United States.
4.  Post a log in your Senior Project Hours link and label it "Independent Component 2" log.

1.What are you most proud of in your Lesson 2 Presentation and why?
  • I'm most proud of my hook for my lesson 2 presentation, because it shows what people are labeled like and that people stand up to people. This video really gets to me personally because all of my family are immigrants and we are all label to be rapists and drug lords.

     b.     Explain why you deserve that grade using evidence from the Lesson 2 component contract.
  • On the lesson 2 component contract it said that you had to talk for 10 minutes on your answer and I did not talk for the full 10 minutes.

3. What worked for you in your Lesson 2?
  • The hook video and the game I had them play, to get a better understanding of what an lawyer has to go through.

Blog 14: Interview 3 Preparation

1.  Who do you plan to interview?  What is this person's area of expertise?

  • For this interview I would like to interview my aunt or my mom because they have gone through the process of getting their papers, and interviewing them will allow be to see things from a client's point of view.
2.  Verify that you have called your interviewee to schedule an interview.  What is the date and time of the interview?

  • I have talked to them and let them know what my EQ is, and they said they would like to help to give me the point of view of the client not just the lawyer's point of view,
3.  Phrase an open-ended question that will help you find research resources that would help to answer the EQ.

  • What were your initial expectations for the process?
4.  Phrase an open-ended question that will help you think about other useful activities you might do to help you answer the EQ (IC2, possible experts to talk to, etc).

  • Does social media affect the way feel and think about the process of getting your papers?
5.  Phrase two open-ended questions that help you to understand your interviewee's perspective on an aspect of your EQ.

Blog 12: Holiday Project Update

  1. It is important to consistently work on your senior project, weather it is break or we are in school. What did you do over the break with your senior project?
    •  Over the break, I did some more research on my topic, due to the fact that the government are trying to pass new Laws on Immigration. I also saw some documentaries on Immigration, and I also came across some shows on T.V. that explained Immigration.
  2. What was the most important thing you learned from what you did, and why? What was the source of what you learned?
    • From the movies and the tv shows I learned that the entertainment industry have a good understanding on Immigration and how it affects a person and their family. Having the entertainment industry add information about Immigration into their tv shows and movies helps the people don't have full understanding about Immigration.
  3. Your third interview will be a 10 question interview related to possible answers for your EQ. Who do you plan to talk to and why?
    •  I would like to interview anyone that has gone through the how process of becoming a Unites States Citizen, to get to know what they go through and what they think and feel about the process. And also why they decided to come to the United States.
