Blog 1- Senior FInal Lesson/ Interview Reflection

1.  What three lessons were most helpful for you to see, and why?
The three lessons that were the most helpful for me were Immigration Law presented by Marissa Jasso, Home Health Counseling presented by Anais Bolden, and Teaching Kindergarten Daniela Diaz. The Immigration Law was a helpful lesson because I got to learn a little more about this topic that I did not know and I would like to maybe even pursue this as a career. The Teaching Kindergarten helped me because it taught me that a teacher does not get the enough credit for teaching kid what they need. Home Health Counseling lesson was also help because it showed me that everyone is going through thing and we should not make them feel bad. In the end all three lessons taught me that everyone needs someone there to help them no matter in what situation they are in.
2. List one thing that you learned about the senior project in interviews that will help you get off to a good start?
Some thing that I learned about the senior project in the interviews was that I need to learn how to manage my time to get everything done by the due date or even sooner. Time management make everything easy because if you focus on the big things first you would not be stressed. To also enjoy senior year and have fun with the project because it could be rewording at the end when its all done.  3. What topic(s) are you considering, and why?
I really would like to do Immigration Law or Just Law because I want to be a lawyer for the people that can not afford an expensive lawyer. I want to help people that needs it and are trying to get their case into the court. The topic just so interesting and I would like to know and get familiar with it.     4. What EQ do you think might be interesting to consider in guiding a project like this? (Please don't worry about any sort of formula...we want this question to come from your genuine interest).
What are the best ways of becoming an effective Lawyer to Immigrantes? 5. What are some ideas you have about finding summer mentorship?
Some things that I would like to do it go to a public hearing of a court case to get more familiar with how a court case works. Then I would just ask around if they know anyone that could help or if they could help.
